Which plastic parts are shared between models?

  • Backplate (regular): same for Pro/Book/LaptopStudio
  • Backplate (small): same for Go 1-4 models
  • Electronics cage (large): same for Book/LaptopStudio
  • Electronics cage (small): same for Pro/Go
  • Cradle & Cover plate: same for all Book models
  • Cradle & Cover plate: same for Go 1-4 & Pro 3-7+ models
  • Cradle & Cover plate: same for Pro 9-11 models
  • plastic clip for OEM MS charger: same for all Go and Pro models
  • All other plastic parts are distinct between models


Notes
  • To use the original Microsoft charger with your Vertical Dock for Surface Pro or Go, you just need to add the "plastic clip for OEM MS charger (24W-65W)" to your order. This part will not work with 102W/127W chargers. This part may not be compatible with docks purchased prior to 2022.
